LPM Consulting is the trading name of LPM Solutions Group Ltd, an independent advisory practice working with public sector and regulated organisations on data, digital and information governance.

Twenty years in NHS digital and data, most recently at Integrated Care Board level. That career covered the full range of the problem: leading a £13M portfolio, growing a data team from twelve people to forty-five, integrating over a hundred datasets at scale, and halving a data platform bill from £1.8M to £900K without reducing what the platform could do.
Before that, Head of Information Governance — which is why the IG advice here is different in kind from a compliance checklist. Pseudonymisation-at-source patterns I designed have been running in live NHS services for over ten years.
The practice exists because that combination is unusual and in demand: someone who can hold an architecture conversation, a governance conversation and a board conversation in the same week, and has personally carried the consequences of getting each of them wrong.
How the practice is set up
One accountable advisor
Work is delivered by me. You are not sold a partner and delivered a junior team. If I am not the right fit, I will say so early.
Associates for scale
Where a requirement needs more capacity or a specialism I do not have, I bring in associates I have worked with and remain accountable for the whole outcome.
Vendor-neutral
No reseller agreements, no platform partnerships, no implementation arm to feed. Advice on Azure, Databricks, Snowflake or anything else is given on the merits.
Technology
Hands-on across Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Apache Spark and Power BI, with the surrounding data engineering and governance tooling. Platform advice is given on fit to your estate, not on what is fashionable.
