How to engage us

Four routes, depending on who you are and what your procurement rules require. If you are not sure which applies, email and I will tell you the shortest lawful route for your organisation.

1. Direct engagement

For organisations that can contract directly — private sector, and public sector purchases within your own delegated limits and procurement rules.

A short statement of work sets out the scope, deliverables, timescales and fee. Engagements are structured around defined outcomes, which keeps the arrangement clean commercially and for employment-status purposes.

Typical time from first conversation to signed SoW: one to two weeks.

2. Public sector frameworks

For public sector buyers who need to award through an existing commercial agreement rather than run a new procurement.

Framework routes let you call off against pre-agreed terms and published rates, which usually means a decision in days rather than months. Framework availability is expanding — email for current routes and I will confirm what is available to your organisation and the call-off steps.

If your organisation holds its own dynamic purchasing system or approved supplier list, tell me and I will apply to it.

3. Through a consultancy or delivery partner

For programmes already being delivered by a larger consultancy or systems integrator that needs specific NHS data or information governance depth.

I work as a named associate or subcontractor on other firms’ engagements, including on their own framework call-offs. If you are a consultancy looking for that capability on a bid or a live programme, get in touch.

4. NHS staff bank and direct engagement routes

For NHS organisations that prefer to engage through established workforce routes for shorter pieces of work.

This is usually the fastest route for a small number of days, and the least administratively demanding for the buyer, though it constrains how the work can be scoped.

What you will need from me

Documentation buyers routinely ask for, available on request:

  • Capability statement and relevant past performance
  • Statement of work template and standard terms
  • Certificates of insurance
  • Data protection and information governance position, including our approach to processing any personal data in scope
  • Employment status (IR35) position and supporting evidence for defined-outcome engagements

Ask for whatever your assurance process needs. If something is not in place, I will tell you that rather than send a document that does not say what you need it to say.
